Awareness Program on Oral Hygiene and Dental Health

Dr. Purna Khanal, a consultant orthodontist working as HoD of the Department of Dentistry at Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, conducted an Awareness program on Oral Hygiene and Dental Health for Nursing and Pharmacy Students of School of Health and Allied Sciences in two different sessions. In his program, he comprehensively discussed the topic and also highlighted the different dental conditions focusing on their treatment. The students actively participated in the program by sharing their experiences and asking the queries. Ms. Sabina Lamichhane, Asst. Prof. of Nursing coordinated the event on behalf of the school. Mr. Bibek Budha, President of PUSPA (Pokhara University Students’ Pharma Association) thanked and felicitated Dr. Khanal on behalf of the participants and the School.
